Job Summary
The U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Warehouseman/Truck Driver. This dual-role position requires experienced professional heavy vehicle driving combined with practical warehouse, inventory, and physical material handling operations.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Driver Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional truck or heavy vehicle driving experience.
- Warehouse Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on warehouse work or manual labor.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Warehouse safety, security standards, and inventory management.
- Optimal space utilization and object stacking techniques.
- Local traffic laws, road networks, and in-country routes.

- Physical Capability: Physically fit to manage heavy loading/unloading; capable of lifting up to 51 lbs (23 kg) according to OSHA standards.
- Language Proficiency: Basic/limited reading, writing, and speaking skills in both English and French.
- Licenses: Valid Category B, C, and D Driver’s Licenses.
