About the job Mission: To develop and implement the end-to-end value propositions, products and services portfolio and Customer experience design across all Consumer Segments (Mass, Youth, HVC, Home) touch point as defined by MTNC Business strategy. The position is responsible for creating sustainable, profitable market value and volume growth within the Consumer and Home Segments by creating value propositions that differentiate MTN from its competitors, developing end-to-end customer experience and driving brand affinity that allows MTN to grow and retain its customer base. Operational Delivery • Manage the strategy execution process for the Consumer segment, focusing on the customer value proposition, aligned with the GTM model. • Work inter-functionally to define and implement MTN Cameroon Consumer segment overall Value proposition, segment customer lifecycle framework and product portfolio and its strategies in alignment with Group technology, procurement and business strategy and collaborate within and outside the function in implementing and continuously improving them. • Perform value and subscriber base management for the Consumer segment • Continuously monitor progress on targets and make appropriate recommendation of corrective actions to be taken when and where necessary. • Ensure synergy across the functional area through effective management of inter-functional relations and activities. • Ensure that local business requirements for Customer Base Management (CBM) and products and services roadmap are defined, including campaign management and measurement systems, and executed. • Manage the implementation of marketing frameworks for customers base and ensure it is increasing brand presence across the customers. • Ensure that local customer contact rules are compliance to in all the operations. • Review and provide input into the development of value propositions, Customer Value Management framework and business cases for up-to-date innovations product portfolios, CVM initiatives and make recommendations for improvement. • Drive and manage the implementation MTN Cameroon Consumer segments, Value Propositions and CVM framework ensuring alignment to MTN Cameroon’s overall Customer Value Proposition, CVM framework and MTN Group strategy. • Leverage & ensure that MTN Group Product development strategies and Technologies (IT, NW) support development of synergy and scale, especially for MTN Cameroon Consumer segments. • Programme-manage delivery of projects and products relevant to the portfolio • Put in place a Product Development Framework with defined milestones and governance process to ensure timely delivery of Consumer segments products. • Build and execute the overall strategy of Home connectivity in alignment with MTN Group guidelines • Contribute in driving alternative channels and best in class customer experience for Home connectivity acceleration. • Provide input into and make recommendations on the development of a viable GTM frameworks (innovation, design, build and refine) and driving a fast response to the market for the targeted consumer segment, ensuring alignment with MTN Group GTM strategy. • Build the teams’ ability to leverage data to deliver market and regionally focused experiences. • Conduct periodic review and updates of MTN Cameroon’s consumer segments demographic profile. • Ensure quality control and maintenance of GTM artefacts (e.g. document and toolkits); alignment to GTM process, RACI and Governance implementation for MTN Cameroon. • Implement the GTM workflow / management system within the sub-function. • Propose market research areas aimed at acquiring intelligence on the preferences and behavioural patterns of the country’s Consumer segment. • Provide input to the product development community and ensure replication of products from the same Community for MTN Cameroon • Analyse MTN Cameroons customer information and align it to the models and metrics implemented by MTN Group. • Implement models and metrics at MTN Cameroon – including, but not limited to Net Promoter Score, micro-segmentation, chum, closed loop feedback and must win battles. • Ensure that the blueprint for enablers to customer experience framework are suited to the consumer Segments at MTN Cameroon – including, but not limited to, real time customer management technologies, and network performance. • Manage local reporting, metrics, and Consumer segment market insights research modelling to ensure consolidated and consistent views as it relates to the MTN Customer •Experience. • Participate in the implementation of strategic initiatives locally, drive the roll out and participate in regular third-party audits. • Understand current business rules and operations relating to consumer segment experience and recommend improvements where necessary. Minimum Job Requirements: Education: • Minimum of 3 years’ tertiary qualification Marketing, Engineering or Business administration • Master’s advantageous • Fluent in English and French Experience: • Minimum 8 years work experience • 5 years of relevant work experience in a global / multinational business environment (with sound understanding of emerging markets) • Manager track record of 5 years or more, with at least 3 years in relevant sector/industry • Experience in leading change / transformation (marketing) at an operational level advantageous • Experience in managing or supervisor others. • Demonstrable experience in managing Value propositions and product development in the telecom domain • Worked across diverse cultures and geographies advantageous Knowledge: • Mobile technology, Telecoms as well as national and global trends • Business and Strategic planning • Financial and profitability modeling • B2B and B2C marketing and distribution principles • Customer Lifecycle Value Management and predictive analytics • The factors impacting customer demand and elasticity. • Customer behavior and market dynamics • Brand Management • Product Development and management • IT, Network key architecture and application building blocks. • Customer Experience design principles • Mobile financial services ecosystem Please apply on or before February 24, 2026.
