As part of strengthening our team, Ilera Medical Network is recruiting a dynamic and committed Health Advisor to support patients in their care journey and promote health prevention. Main mission The health advisor acts as a bridge between the patient and the healthcare system, playing a vital role in prevention and health education. The primary mission of a health advisor is to inform, guide, and support patients in order to improve their health and well-being. Roles and Responsibilities Inform and raise awareness • Welcoming and directing patients (by phone or online) • Provide clear information about medical services and examinations • Explain diseases and their prevention • Provide advice on hygiene and lifestyle • Raising awareness about screening for diseases (HIV, cervical cancer, diabetes, etc.) • Explain the medical examinations to be carried out • Directing to the right specialist or service • Helping to understand medical results Accompany and support • Listen to patients' concerns • Encourage treatment adherence • To provide moral and educational support Promote prevention • Family planning • Early detection • Balanced nutrition Administrative management • Record patient information • Update the databases • Respect the confidentiality of files • Deliver orders to the laboratories Key skills • Proficiency in computer skills • Good communication • Empathy • Confidentiality • Basic knowledge of health • Sense of ethics • Professionalism • Discretion • Team spirit • Sense of organization Desired profile!! • Level: Minimum of two years of post-secondary education (Nursing, Public Health, Biology or similar field) • Experience in a medical or customer service environment (an asset) • Good computer skills • Excellent oral and written communication Terms • Position based in (Biyem-assi) Yaoundé • Employment contract • Trial period followed by a permanent contract • Remuneration: • Fixed salary + Performance bonuses • CNPS Send your CV and cover letter by email.
