As part of the expansion of its Finance Department, CANAL+ Cameroon is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional for the position of:

🎯 CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

📍 Location: Cameroon

🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise general and analytical accounting activities
• Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and supporting notes
• Guarantee compliance with local accounting regulations, IFRS standards, and Group accounting policies
• Oversee tax and social security declarations
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
• Monitor intercompany and intra-group transactions
• Supervise and support subsidiary accountants in their professional development
• Collaborate with statutory auditors and internal audit teams
• Participate in the improvement of accounting processes and reporting tools
• Propose solutions to optimize financial flows and cash management
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and contribute to their continuous improvement

🎓 PROFILE REQUIRED

✅ Master's Degree (Bac+5) in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field
(DSCG, Master CCA, Business School with Finance Specialization, or equivalent)

✅ Minimum 5–7 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within an international organization

✅ Strong knowledge of:
• French Accounting Standards
• IFRS
• SYSCOHADA

✅ Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP

✅ Excellent leadership and team management skills

✅ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

✅ Good command of English (written and spoken)

⭐ Previous experience in an accounting firm will be considered an advantage.
